Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the ReplySmith Chrome extension and service ("ReplySmith"), provided by Durai Subramani, India ("we", "us"). By installing or using ReplySmith you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use ReplySmith.

1. The service

ReplySmith uses artificial intelligence to summarize an email conversation you open in Gmail and to suggest and draft replies. Drafts are inserted into Gmail's reply box only when you click Insert, and are sent only when you click Gmail's own Send button. ReplySmith is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

2. Your account

You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account and must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live).

3. AI-generated content

  • AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate. You must review every draft before sending it. You are solely responsible for the emails you send.
  • Don't rely on ReplySmith for legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
  • Drafts generated for you are yours to use as you wish.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ReplySmith to send spam, harass or deceive anyone, break the law, infringe others' rights, or to attempt to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer or bypass the limits of the service.

5. Plans, billing and renewal

  • Free: 15 AI drafts per calendar month.
  • Pro: ₹199 per month for customers in India, or US$3 per month for customers elsewhere, with a fair-use limit of 1000 drafts per month. Prices include or exclude taxes as shown at checkout.
  • Pro is a subscription that renews automatically every month until cancelled. Payments are processed by Razorpay; by subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your chosen payment method.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
  • You can cancel anytime; you won't be charged again and keep Pro until the end of the paid month. Payments are non-refundable. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep ReplySmith available but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Gmail changes may temporarily affect the extension. We may change, suspend or discontinue features; if we discontinue Pro, you won't be charged for any later month.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

8. Termination

You can stop using ReplySmith at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Payments already made are not refunded on termination.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

ReplySmith is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for the content of emails you send. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date; continuing to use ReplySmith after that means you accept it.
